Tiny Saint – Saint Tarcisius
Tarcisius was a young altar server during the 3rd century, a time of fierce persecution of Christians. He had the dangerous privilege of smuggling the Eucharist to condemned Christians. One day, a crowd of pagans saw him and asked what he was hiding. Tarcisius, knowing they would beat him and desecrate the Eucharist, refused to tell them. It cost him his life, but when the crowds attacked him, young Tarcisius protected the precious Eucharist
